connectivity issues sinced update??

Is this just me? I am so frustrated for 2 days now. evedr since the update 2.5 days ago, i cannot get a solid connection no matter witch mirror site, browser, vpn and random combinations of all of the above. I rebooted my pc, did virus scans, defrag, scan for updates..... deleted in full my browser histories, cookies, cache. I have elite internet service, like gig+ speed. Is anyone else having issues with connectivity starting from this most recent update on the 17th (I think, but maybe it was the 16th)?
